Hello. First time poster here. I ordered the new Vr Air Bridge this week.
https://www.meta.com/quest/accessories/d-link-vr-air-bridge/
I just connected it for the first time and followed the setup instructions. My PC detects it and I can effortlessly connect from my headset. Everything seems to be in order. Once using the head setup though, it shows that I have no Internet connection. Should it not be utilizing my PCs Internet connection? Any ideas on how to correct this problem?
Thanks.

The default instructions for this thing are totally lacking what you need. They basically tell you how to plug in the device and then how to connect your headset to it. It will connect, but you will have no Internet on it.
I opened Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center and found my PCs wired nic card. I right clicked went to properties and then the sharing tab. I activated Internet Connection sharing. Then I selected the following network from the drop down "Local Area Connection* 12". I am guessing this may be different between systems. When the VR Bridge installed it added TWO new network options into this panel. One is the D-Link itself which is easy to identify. The other is a "Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter", which in my case is "Local Area Connection* 12".
Once I had shared my Internet connection from my default adapter to the virtual adapter, the Headset immediately gained Internet access.
(EDIT: Under the sharing tab I also went to settings and turned on all protocols, but this may or may not be needed.)
Hope this helps others. I will continue testing and see if I run into other issues.

I used the air bridge for 4 hours straight when I got it OCT 7th. I updated my quest and oculus app and now it refuses to connect.
I'll try and connect to the access point and it will disconnect right away.
Any tips?

Hey there! We know how fun PCVR can be when immersed, so we'd love to lend a hand!
In order to gain a bit more knowledge, could you please answer the following:
- When was this first noticed?
- Does it continually disconnect when reinstalling the app?
- Does your PC meet the Link requirements?
- Are your GPU drivers updated?
- Is Windows updated?
- What all have you tried already? (To not repeat anything)
Along with this, we do have a couple of things we can try:
- Beta restart all Oculus software on your PC. To do this:
- Click Settings
- Click Beta
- Click Restart Oculus
- Check that the VR Air Bridge is using the approved cradle and plugged into a USB 3 port. USB 3 ports are often blue, however this varies depending on your PC.
Looking forward to your update!

It's like it's being blocked , it's not letting me connect to the wifi vr bridge, it never fully connected since the first install and since I restarted the computer, I fit all requirements everything is updated and i uninstalled the antivirus and disabled all firewalls. When I first installed it worked fine, next day wouldn't connect, uninstalled and reinstalled the oculus app, worked fine, than again in the afternoon same issue, put on the headset and won't connect to the bridge wifi. yes i retsarted oculus many times now, I reinstalled the oculus app, wont even connect now to setup the air bridge at all. again everything is updated, all software and devices. tryed disabling my main wifi connection aswell, no luck, cant get past the wifi connection screen. says connecting and back to saved. i have seen it say disabled on the standalone before i click to connect

So I solved the issue, in device manager , for some odd reason, virtual desktop monitor and virtual adapter number 6 were both disabled. Once I enabled both, everything works fine like it should

For me the fix was going to the device manager, opening up network adapters, right clicking "D-Link.. VR Air Bridge", going to "properties", click the "Power Management" tab, and unchecking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." I did this for the adapter called "Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #4" aswell.
